The venue is located in the city centre and part of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex complex.

Standing nearby is the 61,000 capacity Luzhniki Stadium which as formerly Lenin Stadium which hosted the 1989 Moscow Music Peace Festival featuring many Western rock acts such as Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne.

It was opened in 1956 as Palace of Sports of the Central Lenin Stadium.

In 1992 it was renamed as Dvorets Sporta Luzhniki (Luzhniki Palace Of Sports).

It was renovated in 2002.

There was no support act for this show.

The final show of the 'X' World Tour.

Full show number 151 (going from Sendai and not including the San Diego radio sponsored gig).

Free 'Def Leppard' logo bandanas were given to fans entering the arena.

The same setlist as played at the previous show in St. Petesburg.

Joe, Phil and Vivian appeared on Moscow radio before the show playing three songs acoustically.
