  • Location / Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Venue / Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre

The first show by the band in this city since April 1988 on the Hysteria tour.

The fifth time at this venue.

The venue is located in the city centre not far from the main train station and close to the Scottish Parliament Building.

It was opened in 1929 as a cinema.

It has hosted concerts since at least 1973.

The first show after a short break during which Rick Allen married his girlfriend Lauren Monroe in California (10th October).

The same setlist as played in Las Vegas with 'Action' opening the show.

'Love Bites' makes a return to the UK setlist after being omitted in February.

Ricky Warwick opened the show alongside American band MusT who are, Dave Ireland (Vocals/guitar) Myke Gray (touring Bassist), Charlie O'Neil (guitars), Reuben Alexander (Drums).

They were supporting their 2002 album 'Androgynous Jesus' which turned out to be their only release and they soon split up after his tour despite debuting many new songs at these shows.

Joe played a short snippet of a Sensational Alex Harvey Band song before 'Two Steps Behind'.

Rick's drum kit broke drum briefly before 'Rock Of Ages' forcing Joe to give him a longer than usual intro during which he mentioned his recent wedding.

A decent quality audience recording exists from this show.
