Slang Deluxe Edition 2014. Slang Deluxe Edition 2014.

Album Notes By dltourhistory

A reissue of the 1996 studio album 'Slang' plus a second disc of bonus material. The original album has been remastered and is included on disc 1 along with five of the original B Sides.

Two of these tracks (Burnout/Worlds Collide) were saved at the time and released as B Sides to the 'Euphoria' singles in 1999.

Disc 2 includes 14 previously unreleased songs/songs versions/mixes. These include four newly released original songs and one original demo. 'All On Your Touch' was first recorded in late 1995 with joke lyrics added and the title of 'Heavy Metal Christmas'. The songs lyrics were re-written and the vocal recorded by Joe in 2012.

A number of 1st Draft/Rough Mix versions of album tracks are included along with 'Anger' an early version of 'Deliver Me'. New songs unreleased from the album sessions include 'Raise Your Love', 'Black Train' and 'Move On Up' - a previously unheard of Vivian Campbell demo. Versions of 'Turn To Dust' and 'Gitf Of Flesh' featuring vocals by Phil Collen start and end Disc 2. 16 of the original single B-Sides from 1996 are not included with most of those being live songs (see Singles section).
