Slang Reissue Listed On Amazon/Track Details

Friday, 9th August 2013

Slang 1996.

The long awaited Def Leppard Slang album reissue may be here later this month after being listed on Amazon's US website.

The reissue has a release date of 27th August according to a new listing on Amazon.com

The product description mentions a total of 26 tracks on CD, vinyl and digital versions. 18 tracks on CD and 8 exclusive digital tracks featuring demos, alternate versions/mixes and the brand new songs Joe mentioned. These include a song that was jokingly called "Heavy Metal Christmas" in late 1995 and has had new lyrics/vocals added to it (as explained by Vivian in December 2011).

Vivian gave the last update on the release at the end of April saying the album would be out "possibly this summer" and it now appears as if this is true.

Amazon UK also list the album as an import.

All previous updates on this release and new music can be found in the Album News section.

Slang reached the Top five in the UK Official Chart and the Top 15 in the US Billboard Chart. The album contained the hit single of the same name.
