  • Location / Hamburg, Germany
  • Venue / Grosse Freiheit 36

The first show by the band in this city since October 1996 on the Slang tour.

The second time at this venue.

The venue is located in the Reeperbahn area of the city centre and close to the Beatles Plaza honouring The Beatles early shows in the city.

It was opened in October 1959.

Skid Row did not appear and played a free show in Hannover instead.

A German news story cited 'technical problems' as the reason.

The venue for this show was changed twice - Markthalle, Sporthalle and now to the Grosse Freiheit (Big Freedom) 36, each venue smaller than the last.

Ricky Warwick did play here with Vivian again joining him.

A much shorter setlist played with only 15 songs in all.

'Love Bites' was only half played due to Phil suffering amplifier problems.

The planned last song 'LGR' was also unplayed due to this.

Reportedly only about 500 fans turned up for this show.
