  • Location / Dublin, Ireland
  • Venue / Olympia Theatre

The first show by the band in this city since November 1996 on the Slang tour.

The first time at this venue.

The venue is located in the Temple Bar area of the city centre and on the South Side of the River Liffey.

It was opened in 1879 as Star of Erin Music Hall.

After various name changes it became The Olympia Theatre in 1923.

It was renovated in 1977 and 2016.

Part of 'Paper Sun' and all of 'Slang' were not included on the audience recording from this show which is of decent quality.

The Almighty supported at this show featuring Ricky Warwick who contributed 'HEY's and Claps' to 'Back In Your Face' on the 'Euphoria' album.

He appeared on the song alongside the two other members of his side band (SIC) and would go on to support the band on most of the 2002/2003 'X/Ten' tour.
