The first show in this city since August 2015 on the 2015 World Tour and third year in a row at this venue.

The 13th time at this venue.

The venue is located within a complex of venues in the Fair Park area of the city that also includes the nearby Fair Park Coliseum arena and the 92,100 capacity Cotton Bowl Stadium where Vivian Campbell played his first live show with Whitensake in June 1987.

Fair Park is around 2.8 miles to the East of the city centre.

It was opened in July 1988 as Coca-Cola Starplex Amphitheatre.

From 1999 to 2000 it was known as Starplex Amphitheatre.

From 2000 to 2008 it was known as Smirnoff Music Centre.

From 2008 to 2011 it was known as Superpages.com Center.

From 2011 to 2017 it was known as Gexa Energy Pavilion.

From 2017 to 2018 it was known as Starplex Pavilion.

Since 2018 it has been called Dos Equis Pavilion.

Vivian celebrated his 54th birthday at this show with Joe leading the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to him before his usual introduction.

This venue is located within the Fair Park recreational complex, not far from the Cotton Bowl Stadium where Vivian played his first show with Whitesnake on 20th June 1987 as part of the Texxas Jam. Tesla were also on the bill that day.
