  • Location / Sheffield, England
  • Venue / Sheffield Arena

The first full show by the band in this city since December 2011 on the Mirrorball tour.

The 9th full show at this venue and 9th time overall.

The venue is located to the North of the city centre and not far from where the Don Valley Stadium used to be.

It was opened in May 1991 as Sheffield Arena by Queen Elizabeth II and first played the same day by Paul Simon.

From 2003 to 2007 it was known as Hallam FM Arena.

From 2007 to 2010 and 2015 to 2017 it reverted to Sheffield Arena.

From 2010 to 2015 it was called Motorpoint Arena Sheffield before its current name of FlyDSA Arena since 2017.

The venue reverted back to its original name (again) following a management change in August 2015 having still been the Motorpoint Arena Sheffield when the tour was announced in March.

The final show of the 2015 world tour.

Vivian guested with both Black Star Riders and Whitesnake during their opening sets. His first appearance with Whitesnake since August 1988.
