  • Location / Edmonton, AB, Canada
  • Venue / Rexall Place

The first show by the band in this city since October 2007 on the Downstage Thrust tour.

The 7th time at this venue.

The venue is located in the North of the city centre and within the Northlands complex.

It was opened in November 1974 as the Northlands Coliseum.

From 1995 to 1998 it was then called the Edmonton Coliseum, Skyreach Center from 1998 to 2003 and Rexall Place from 2003 to 2018 when it changed back to being Northlands Coliseum.

The venue was closed in January 2018 with concerts then taking place at the new Rogers Arena in the city.

The band had been due to play here on 31st October 2009 before that tour leg was cancelled.

This show coincided with what would have been Steve Clark's 55th birthday.

The first time the band had played on this date since 2008.

Joe dedicated 'Two Steps Behind' to him and mentioned his birthday before playing the song in an otherwise unchanged setlist.

A decent quality audience recording exists for this show.
