  • Location / Sheffield, England
  • Venue / Motorpoint Arena Sheffield

The first show by the band in this city since June 2008 on the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour.

The 8th full show at this venue and 9th time overall.

The venue is located to the North of the city centre and not far from where the Don Valley Stadium used to be.

It was opened in May 1991 as Sheffield Arena by Queen Elizabeth II and first played the same day by Paul Simon.

From 2003 to 2007 it was known as Hallam FM Arena.

From 2007 to 2010 and 2015 to 2017 it reverted to Sheffield Arena.

From 2010 to 2015 it was called Motorpoint Arena Sheffield before its current name of FlyDSA Arena since 2017.

'Women' was added to the set along with 'Slang' which was last played in the UK on 31st October 2003 in London.

Ticket scanning 'issues' delayed many fans entrance to the arena (including mine and it was f**king freezing!...).

A decent quality audience recording exist from this show.
