  • Location / Providence, RI, USA
  • Venue / Dunkin Donuts Center

The first show by the band in this city since August 2003 during the X/Ten tour at the same venue.

The fifth time at this venue.

The venue is located in downtown Providence next to the local university.

It was opened in November 1972.

The venue was originally known as Providence Civic Center.

It was then changed to Dunkin' Donuts Center in in 2001 and renovated in 2008.

This was the last show before an enforced break from performing due to Joe Elliott's illness/vocal issues. He appeared to be sick and not up to his usual vocal standards at this show.

Described at the time as an "upper respiratory tract infection" and Phil Collen also came down with a virus which was at first thought to be pneumonia. Both of them lost their voices and said there was "just no way to do the shows".

The band were already in Quebec City when the postponements were announced.

Six shows in Quebec City (11th), Ottawa (12th), Hamilton (13th), Winnipeg (16th), Grand Rapids (18th) and Detroit (19th) were postponed and rescheduled for August.

The tour would resume on 22nd April in Boise, ID.
