Def Leppard will play an acoustic set at the 2025 Backyard Concert in Los Angeles this October.

Joe confirms the upcoming private show in Los Angeles.

During last night's Joe Elliott Show on Planet Rock Joe confirmed the upcoming appearance in Los Angeles at a private event.

2025 Backyard Concert

The October 3rd show with The Who was mentioned here in a recent news update and has now been officially confirmed by Joe.

The only previous source being Pearl Jam fans (although from a trusted website).

Joe played 'The Seeker' by The WHo on his show and went on to mention this concert and that Def Leppard would play an acoustic set.

This will be their first acoustic set in many years with the most recent ones happening during their ill fated 2016 cruise and at the last residency.

The most recent all acoustic shows before this were for radio promo shows and they of course played almost all acoustic shows in 1995 for the Vault promo tour.

As mentioned The Who are hosting their '2025 Backyard Concert' at a private residence in the Pacific Palisades area near Los Angeles on 3rd October.

The Who Farewell Tour

Just as the news about this show was posted a week ago The Who added another public show to their farewell USA tour and will now play their final date on 1st October.

They play at the Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs, CA with the show billed as - "The Final Public Show on the North American Farewell Tour!".

The wording also confirms the charity show is indeed the final appearance overall.

There is also no mention of a support act or any charity tie in.

Until 12th September 'The Song is Over North American Farewell Tour' was due to end in Las Vegas at MGM Grand Garden Arena on 28th September.
