The venue is located in the city centre and close to the Cumberland River.

It was opened in December 1996 as the Nashville Arena.

From 1999 to to 2007 it was known as the Gaylord Entertainment Center and then the Sommet Center from 3007 to 2010 before changing to Bridgestone Arena.

It was renovated in 2007, 2011 and 2015.

The three new album songs were played in Nashville for the first time.

Taylor Swift's guitar player Paul Sidoti attended this show and was pictured backstage with Phil.
