Def Leppard 2017 Tour Nashville, TN (Show Report)
Def Leppard played another show on the 2017 North American Tour last night in Nashville, TN with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at the 13,581 capacity Bridgestone Arena.
The band's first time in Nashville since 18th August 2015 on the 2015 world Tour.
The 14th show the band have played in Nashville and the fifth time at this venue.
The first visit to Nashville was in July 1980 at Municipal Auditorium as support to Ted Nugent on their first American tour.
The first headline show was in May 1983 at the same venue during the Pyromania tour.
They returned for an In The Round show in January 1988 on the Hysteria tour with Tesla in support.
A second Hysteria tour show followed in August 1988 with Europe at Starwood Amphitheatre. The first outdoor show in the city (actually in nearby Antioch).
This started a four show run at the venue which continued in September 1993, August 1996 and September 2000.
Three years later the returned to play the Riverstages Festival on the X/Ten tour.
July 2006 saw a return to the Starwood Amphitheatre with Journey on the YEAH! tour.
The Bridgestone Arena was played for the first time in August 2008 on the Sparkle Lounge tour under its original name of Sommet Center.
Three shows then took place here under the current name in July 2012 (also with Poison), July 2014 and August 2015.
17 songs were played at last night's show. All 3 new album songs were played in Nashville for the first time.
This show was sold out and attended by Paul Sidoti from Taylor Swift's band who has been at many shows in recent years. He last came to a show in Cleveland, OH in August 2016 (see photo below).
