The venue is located in Maryland Heights which is a suburb around 20 miles North West of the city centre of St. Louis.
It was opened in June 1991 as Riverport Amphitheatre.
From 2002 to 2006 it was called UMB Bank Pavilion.
From 2006 to 2014 it was called Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.
Since 2014 it has been called Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.
The show was played in very hot conditions with lightning storms happening in the local area as they performed. The performance was not affected by the conditions though.
