The venue is located 4.9 miles to the North West of the city center within the grounds of the Australian Institute Of Sport and close to the University Of Canberra.
It was opened in January 1981 as National Indoor Sports Centre.
Since 1995 it has been named as AIS Arena.
It was renovated in 2015.
'Gods Of War' returned to the setlist and the band rehearsed 'Another Hit And Run' and 'Action' at the soundcheck but did not include them at this show.
