The venue is located in the city centre and part of a waterworks building that has three steam-driven pumps.
It was opened in September 1987 and replaced the Saltagert venue which the band had played in October 1983 on the Pyromania. Their first show in the country.
Te venue was almost closed in 2010 but reopened in 2011.
A decent quality audience recording exists for this show.
