  • Location / Liverpool, England
  • Venue / Royal Court Theatre

The first show by the band in this city since April 1980 on the On Through The Night tour.

The first time at this venue.

Another show on the High 'n' Dry UK tour with Lionheart and MORE in support.

It was opened in October 1938 with an Art Deco style.

A new building which had replaced the first, destroyed by fire in 1933. The original Royal Court Theatre building dated back all the way to 1881.

The venue was where the three 'High 'n' Dry' promo videos were filmed in July 1981.

The band filmed three promo videos at this venue before/after the show (or possibly the day before on the 21st).

The promo clips for 'Let It Go', 'Bringin' On The Heartbreak' and 'High 'N' Dry (Saturday Night)' were filmed with fan club members and friends used for the crowd scenes.

It's never been confirmed if the band actually played 'BOTH' live at this show or any other on the 1981 tour and 'Switch 625' was only used as the intro music on thw PA.

The first confirmed playing of the songs is 9th February 1983 at Phil Collen's first show in London at The Marquee Club.
