On This Day in Def Leppard History - 21st September, the following concerts and events took place. Including a show in East Rutherford, NJ during the Hysteria tour on this day in 1988.

This was the first of three sold-out In The Round shows at this venue which were attended by Joe Elliott's parents.

This was the second time the band had played three consecutive nights at a US arena. The first was in Minneapolis, MN in July and the third would be a few weeks later in Atlanta, GA when extra scenes were filmed for the 'In The Round-In Your Face' concert video.

On this day in 2017 the Rock In Rio festival was played for the first time in Rio De Janeiro. The event was broadcast live on local TV and on YouTube.
