Def Leppard will resume The Stadium Tour in Spring 2023 in Mexico and South America according to a new article.

The Stadium Tour 2022 was completed last night in Las Vegas, NV at Allegiant Stadium.

Another audience of over 40,000 fans witnessed Def Leppard/Motley Crue together in a stadium.

As mentioned by Joe as far back as March this Stadium Tour with be heading around the world in 2023.

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil has been interviewed by the Las Vegas press and the blurb within the article mentions upcoming tour plans.

The tour will resume in Spring 2023 in Mexico and South America which ties in with Nikki Sixx's recent tweets from August.

The time frame makes sense as the tour will hit Europe/UK in the summer.

Also mentioned is the tour will not return to North America until 2024 which paves the way for Asia - Japan and also Australia, New Zealand to be played later in 2023/early 2024.

Motley Crue are also planning another Las Vegas residency on their own.

Return To Mexico/South America

The likely venue for Mexico, at least in Mexico City, would seem to be Foro Sol which holds around 60,000 fans.

The last visit to Mexico was in October 2017 with three shows played in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterey.

The last visits to South America were in the same year in September 2017 where a mixture of shows were played.

Rock In Rio in Rio plus two stadium shows with Aerosmith and The Who in Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre.

Plus a solo date in Buenos Aires, Argentina and an unexpected headline stadium show in Santiago, Chile after Aerosmith had pulled out.

Three Year Tour

Phil and Joe have already stated long ago this tour would last for three years and now the schedule reveals it will probably end where it started in North America in 2024.

UK/Europe plans were mentioned by Joe back in July when speaking to Classic Rock Magazine.

And again recently on his 20th August radio show on Planet Rock.
