Def Leppard played a Summer Stadium Tour 2024 show last night in Cleveland, OH with 19 songs performed.
The show took place at the 34,830 capacity Progressive Field.
The first show in this city since July 2022.
The first time at this venue.
Cleveland Rocks
Show #10 on The Summer Stadium Tour saw the band back in Ohio for the first since since August 2023 when they played in Columbus.
After playing a huge NFL stadium in Cleveland on the 2022 tour they were back to a baseball stadium.
One of the smallest on this tour and their first visit here.
Progressive Field standing not far from the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse Arena which they played on previous arena tours under two different names.
Including as Gund Arena in 2003 on the X/Ten tour and this show took place on the 22nd anniversary of "X" (as it became known).
Fortunately the weather did not cause any issues other than some rain during Journey's set.
They played after Cheap Trick had opened the show in place of Heart after they had to pull out of their three planned shows on this tour.
Def Leppard started the show at a slightly earlier time of around 9:25pm.
And of course, as the song says, Cleveland Rocked.

This time one from the Cleveland Guardians and once again worn for the last two songs.
It appears Sav may have noticed Journey's Jonathan Cain wearing at least two of three shirts of local teams during their sets throughout the tour.
Comin' Under Fire Returns
The mid set 'Pyromania' album section saw another change at this show.
'Comin' Under Fire' made a welcome return after two shows but was not played in place of 'Billy's Got A Gun' as both were included.
The setlist was actually extended to 19 songs making it one of the longest played at a main show in the USA in recent years outside of residencies.
Hopefully something that will continue at the next show in Toronto, ON for the only Canadian visit in 2024.
8 songs in all played from 'Pyromania' which matches those played at the SiriusXM show in June and only the second time 8 songs from the album have been played at one show.
19 Song Setlist
An 19 song setlist was played.
'Just Like '73' and 'Comin' Under Fire' were played in this city for the first time.
'Billy's Got A Gun' kept it's place.
As is traditional at most Cleveland shows dating back to at least the X tour in 2003 Joe sang a few lines of Ian Hunter's 'Cleveland Rocks' before 'Two Steps Behind'.
Cleveland History
The first visit to Cleveland was in July 1980 at Cleveland Lakefront Stadium.
The band's first ever show in a stadium on their debut American tour.
The last visit here in July 2022 saw the band play at 67,000 capacity FirstEnergy Stadium (now Cleveland Browns Stadium) on The Stadium Tour.
Last night's show was the 21st overall performance in Cleveland.
The next Def Leppard show takes place in Toronto, ON on 2nd August.
