- Event / Cheyenne Frontier Days
The first show in this city.
The first time at this venue.
The venue is located 1.5 miles North West of the city centre.
The event has been held annually since 1897 and is billed as "World's Largest Outdoor Rodeo and Western Celebration.
The venue has hosted major concerts since at least July 1977.
Ricky Warwick returned as support for this show for this first time since 2005.
There had been opposition to the band appearing here by protesters who are against the Rodeo and it's alleged bad treatment of animals.
The rodeo suffered rain for two days creating a mud bath around the stage and the staging didn't allow room for the band's video screen although the event did have it's own side stage screens.
