It was opened in 1929 and later reopened after a renovation in November 1999 having been closed since 1996.
The third and final show of the 3 Continents In One Day event taking place in the evening local time which was still counted as the same day by the Guinness Book Of World Records.
This show completed the 6,000 mile journey that started in London before heading to Tangier, back to London and then on to Vancouver.
A day later they flew over 20 hours to Singapore.
The longest setlist of the three shows was played here with an extra encore song by T. Rex.
