The venue is located on City Island which sits in the Susquehanna River in the centre of the city.
The park area hosted concerts from at least 1982 up to around 1989.
The park area where concerts took place was situated on the mile long island which is near Harrisburg on the Susquehanna River.
By 1987 the area had been turned into two sports fields. The Skyline Sports Complex and the FNB Field baseball stadium.
A temporary stage would be set up for concerts on the Island near the Walnut Street bridge which is one of three main bridges connecting it to either side of the river.
