Thursday, 30th June 1983
- Location / Augusta, GA, USA
- Venue / Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center
The first show by the band in this city.
The first time at this venue.
The venue is located in the city centre.
It was opened in January 1980 as an extension to the Exhibition hall which was opened in 1974.
The original name was Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center but listed on the tour schedule as only County Civic Center.
Since August 2006 it has been renamed as the James Brown Arena after the late singer.
The band did not play at the smaller 5,000 capacity Augusta Civic Center which is a different venue.
A decent quality audience recording exists from this show but has not been widely circulated.
