DEF LEPPARD/MOTLEY CRUE To Open The Stadium Tour In Jacksonville, FL

Def Leppard have added a new show in Jacksonville, Florida to The Stadium Tour with with Motley Crue and Poison.

A 31st stadium show has now been added to the tour which once again a new start date.

The Stadium Tour will now begin on 18th June 2020 in Jacksonville, FL at the TIAA Bank Field which holds over 67,000 people.

As with the San Antonio, TX show, Mötley Crüe are listed as closing this first night.

The first show in Jacksonville since April 2017 when the Welcome To Rockville Festival was played at Metropolitan Park.

The press release confirms the bands will rehearse for the tour in Jacksonville at both this venue and the nearby VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, which has been played multiple times by Def Leppard in the past.

25 dates on the tour have now sold out with over 1 million tickets sold.

This matches the total tickets sold for the entire 60 North American shows played in 2018 with Journey.

Tickets for the new Boston show go on general sale from 7th February with pre-sales starting from 3rd February.

The Stadium Tour featuring Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett adds June 18th show to kick off tour

The Jacksonville Jaguars and ASM Global-Jacksonville announced today that the world’s most iconic and celebrated rock legends will launch their highly anticipated THE STADIUM TOUR in Jacksonville this summer. MÖTLEY CRÜE, DEF LEPPARD, with POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS will perform at TIAA Bank Field on Thursday, June 18.

The tour, which will now consist of 31 shows, has already sold out 25 stadiums in the US while amassing over one million tickets sold to eager fans. The Stadium Tour has added Jacksonville as its official kickoff city for the 2020 summer tour, where each band will bring their electrifying stage shows while performing their stadium-sized anthems.

In the days leading up to the official tour kickoff on June 18, the Jacksonville Jaguars and ASM Global-Jacksonville are also proud to host multi-day tour rehearsals for THE STADIUM TOUR at both VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and TIAA Bank Field.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 7 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com.
