DEF LEPPARD 2020 Tour w/ MÖTLEY CRÜE/POISON Announced Within Days

Def Leppard will announce their 2020 North American stadium tour within days according to sources close to Mötley Crüe.

The Mötley Crüe sources spoke to Billboard yesterday.

And they report that following The Black Crowes manager 'moment' the band's video announcement was brought forward and posted on YouTube earlier than expected.

The article reveals the announcement had originally been planned for the first week of December. The tour would then be announced a week later. This article is also the first time a band source has directly stated they will be touring with the two other bands.

The full North American tour schedule will now be announced within days according to their sources.

The 2018 tour was announced on a Friday (19th January 2018). In 2017 the last tour with Poison was announced on a Thursday (12th January 2017).

When announced it will also be confirmed whether Def Leppard will headline all shows or co-headline and alternate each night as they did with Journey in 2018.

Rick Allen made a brief comment on his FB account last night which can be read below. Rick told a radio station in January 2018 the band would not be touring with Journey... followed 6 days later by a tour being announced with...Journey.

Poison played before Def Leppard in the USA, Canada and Mexico in 2009, 2012 and more recently in 2017.

Mötley Crüe's only previous shows with Def Leppard in the USA were the September 1983 San Diego stadium show on the Pyromania tour and at the Chipewa Valley Rock Fest in Cadott, WI in July 1999 during the Euphoria tour. They went on to play six UK shows in December 2011 on the Mirrorball tour.
