DEF LEPPARD To Support BON JOVI ON Their 2019 European Tour

Def Leppard have been announced to play with Bon Jovi on their 2019 This House Is Not For Sale European tour.

Bon Jovi have this morning announced their long awaited UK and European dates in support of the last studio album 'This House Is Not For Sale'.

These will be played alongside the already announced five shows Def Leppard will be headlining in the UK and Europe.

Bon Jovi last toured Europe in the summer of 2013 on the Because We Can stadium tour. Def Leppard will be the Special Guests at a limited number of shows (not including the UK).

This tour is also being played in outdoor stadiums across the UK and Europe. Def Leppard were mentioned in the official Bon Jovi posts or on their website but have now been confirmed officially and on venue/ticket sites.

Def Leppard will be special guests for three shows in Denmark and Germany - as indicated below.

As mentioned in 2015 by Phil Collen, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi almost toured together but plans were shelved after Richie Sambora left the band. It was never confirmed if this was for North America or Europe.

Jon Bon Jovi has appeared onstage with Def Leppard twice before in 1988 and with Richie Sambora in 1992.

Both Joe and Rick appeared on stage with Bon Jovi during the 1988 New Jersey tour in Dublin and London. Rick's appearance also featured Brian May, Elton John and Lita Ford. Joe later performed with Jon and his solo band in Las Vegas during the March 2013 VIVIA! Hysteria residency at a private show.

Both bands also played the San Remo Festival in February 1988. Bon Jovi were on the bill at the two Monsters Of Rock shows in Nuremberg and Mannheim, Germany in August 1986 during Rick Allen's comeback tour when Joe first met Jon Bon Jovi.

Def Leppard's only planned UK date in 2019 is the Download Festival at Donington Park.

Tickets for the tour go on sale from 2nd November at 9am.
