DEF LEPPARD Announce First Show Of 2019 European Tour In BARCELONA

Def Leppard 2018. Def Leppard 2018

Def Leppard will headline the 2019 Rock Fest in Barcelona, Spain as part of their European tour.

The first show of 2019 has just been announced by the organisers of the festival which takes place in July.

The band will return to Spain as part of their European tour from July 4th to 7th (day to day schedule to be confirmed).

Rock Fest takes place outside Bracelona in Parc de Can Zam, Santa Coloma de Gramanet.

This will be the band's first ever festival show in Spain.

The last visit took place in June 2013 when four shows were played in the country with Whitesnake and Europe. Two of those shows (San Sebastian/Madrid) featured the full 'Hysteria' album played. Two of only three times this was done outside of the VIVA! Hysteria residency.

Also playing the festival are Testament, Avatar, Demons & Wizards, Elvellon, Rage, Sonta Arctica, Therion and fellow UK rockers Thunder who played with Def Leppard in 1993 and 2008.

Further European festival shows are likely to be announced soon as part of the tour already mentioned by Phil. This first show puts them in Europe not long after the Download festival happens in England (...). Shows will also be played in USA, Canada and in South America.

The appearance is being advertised as "unique and exclusive" suggesting a 'Hysteria' album show.
