DEF LEPPARD 30th Anniversary Edition Of HYSTERIA Due On 4th August

Hysteria 30th Anniversary

Def Leppard will release a 30th anniversary edition of the Hysteria album this year and details have been posted online.

Amazon are now listing various editions of the new release.

The release date given for the album is Friday 4th August.

The 4th August being the closest new Friday release date to the original worldwide release date of 3rd August 1987.

The super deluxe or box set version features five CDs and two DVDs. The five CDs are housed in sleeves which match the artwork of the original vinyl singles.

Additionally the double vinyl version of the album is also listed alongside the CD/DVD versions.

A limited edition 2 LP coloured vinyl is also being released.

This release was first mentioned by Phil back in April during an interview.

The original 12 track album is included on disc one while disc two and three feature many of the single B Sides.

Unlike the 2006 Deluxe Edition this release goes further by including the various edit versions of the singles which were only available previously on promo CD or vinyl discs.

The five extended versions/remixes are included on disc three.

Disc two also has a BBC Radio documentary about the album. This is an interview with Joe from 1990 but not the full version which lasted for one hour.

The regular edition of the 30th anniversary release features these three discs only.

The deluxe edition includes discs four and five which contain the audio of the 'In The Round-In Your Face' concert film. Previously only a couple of tracks from this were included on 'Hysteria' and 'Adrenalize' single B Sides and promo cassettes.

The first DVD includes three Top Of The Pops performances as well as PSSOM from the 1989 Brit Awards. Plus the seven promo videos.

The second DVD is simply the Classic Albums DVD from 2002.

The deluxe package also contains a story of book, a Ross Halfin photo book and a replica Hysteria tour program. Watch the commercial for the release below.
