RICK SAVAGE Gives Guide To DEF LEPPARD's HYSTERIA Album Songs

Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage has spoken about the Hysteria album and given a guide to every track.

Sav gave another rare interview with Music Radar and gave a track by track guide 30 years on to the Hysteria album.

The Hysteria 30th anniversary reissue was released on 4th August to celebrate 30 years since the original album.

Amongst the song explanations he recounts once again how it was he and Phil who came up with the initial idea for the title track (before it was name Hysteria).

"Phil [Collen, guitars] had come up with the original guitar riff and we just wanted to keep it Stonesy and very loose… which was difficult for us to do. It wasn’t natural for us to be a bit sloppy but still in time. We wanted the swagger and attitude."
