RICK SAVAGE Says DEF LEPPARD To Play 2018 HYSTERIA Show In SHEFFIELD

Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage has given a rare interview to a Sheffield newspaper and confirmed plans for a hometown show in 2018.

Sav was speaking to Exposed Magazine who are based in Sheffield. A magazine he has been interviewed by many times before in the X/Ten/ Best Of era (if you recall photos of him at home holding a pet rabbit...).

Joe "almost" confirmed a Hysteria Anniversary In The Round world tour/or UK tour last night for 2018.

Joe also said the shows will feature the full Hysteria album played in order.

Sav has now confirmed plans for at least one UK show - in Sheffield which was the last city played on the 2015 world tour. Whilst not giving any details it almost certainly ties in with Joe's words about 'Hysteria' shows.

Sav also talks about what he's currently up to, Hysteria 30th anniversary, the making of the album, Rick's car accident/recovery, and playing in Sheffield in 2018.

Recent tour news suggests another US summer tour with Journey but Vivian did say the band had other things planned including UK/European and Far East shows.

The last mention of possible In The Round shows was by Phil in April when he said the band will start from scratch again with their staging in 2018 and had been talking about playing In The Round again "at some point".

The last, and only, UK shows to feature the In The Round setup were in June/July 1992 on the Adrenalize tour. View a photo below from one of the Sheffield Arena shows - which hopefully will look the same next year!.
