Long Island Weekly - Phil Collen Interview Quotes

Current Def Leppard Studio Album

"Joe completely lost his voice, for the first time in 30 years. We moved the show and offered people tickets to come see us on location. We got a couple of guest singers on board."

Hysteria On The High Seas Cruise

"I think this is the best thing we’ve done since Hysteria and it was a joy actually."

David Bowie

"I just found out that ‘Life on Mars’ was voted the most popular song in England. I thought it would have been something else like ‘Jean Genie.’ The lyrics and imagery of ‘Queen Bitch’ are fantastic. When I was getting into that song, my cousin used to play Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix and everything else including Stevie Wonder and Pink Floyd along with Bowie."
