UK/Ireland Tour 2015
Def Leppard's 2015 UK tour with Whitesnake has been announced this morning and will take place in December.
The two British arena rock giants will tour the UK and Ireland together for the first time in seven years having previously teamed up in 2008.
The tour will start the on 6th December in Dublin and end on 19th December in Leps home city of Sheffield.
This will be the first time Def Leppard have ended a world tour in Sheffield. Support comes from Black Star Riders.
Whitesnake release a new Deep Purple covers album called 'The Purple Album' on 18th May in the UK. Their line up (alongside David Coverdale) now features Tommy Aldridge (drums), Michael Devin (bass), Brian Ruedy (keyboards), Joel Hoekstra (guitar) and Reb Beach (guitar) - the only one who played on the 2008 tour.
Whitesnake joined Lep and Europe for four shows in Spain during their short 2013 European tour.
Tickets go on sale 1st April from all the usual ticket outlets priced 45 pounds (UK). Pre sales on 30th March.
The last UK tour in 2011 with Motley Crue in tow featured six shows in England/Scotland on the Mirrorball tour. Following on from dates in Belfast/Dublin in June and a second headline slot at the Download festival.
Def Leppard and Whitesnake's 2008 UK tour saw them play 10 UK shows on the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour.
