The first show by the band in this city since July 1983 on the Pyromania tour.

The second time as this venue.

The venue is located in the Hastings Park area of the city centre and within the grounds of the Pacific National Exhibition complex.

It was opened in January 1968.

The venue was renovated/expanded in 1984 and 2007.

It is referred to as either Pacific Coliseum or P. N. E. Coliseum.

Jon Bon Jovi appeared as a special guest with the band for the first time during the encore of 'Travellin' Band' on this final night of the Canadian tour.

Phil had already guested on stage with Bon Jovi in 1986 and both Joe and Rick would do so later in 1988 on the upcoming 'New Jersey' tour.

Bon Jovi were in town to record the 'New Jersey' album. In interviews at the time Joe mentioned the two bands hung out together

The band stayed in city after this show for a few days to rehearse new songs being added into the show on the next US tour leg.

Phil, Steve and Rick went to a local music venue called Club Soda after the show. They hung out with Loverboy guitarist Paul Dean and his producer Brian MacLeod.

Loverboy had supported the band on the April 1988 UK tour.
