The first show by the band in this city since November 1987 on the indoor leg of the tour.

The venue was located in Chandler, AZ and next to the Firebird Lake International raceway which stands next to Firebird Lake.

Chandler is 24.4 miles to the South East of Phoenix city centre.

It was opened in 1985 and the second venue to used this name.

The first played was located in Legend City near Tempe, AZ and opened from 1979 to 1983.

The venue was closed down and demolished in 2010 and hosted concerts up to at least October 1996.

It was also sometimes listed as Compton Terrace Amphitheater Phoenix.

This was the last show of the outdoor amphitheatre leg.

Joe revealed in interviews at the time that he had surgery for a deviated septum before the next leg of the tour started.

Footage of the band flying into the venue in a helicopter was included in the Tour Manager's video by then tour manager Ian Jeffery.

One of the band is overheard saying "It's better than the other f**king Compton Terrace" which the band had played in 1983 (near Legend City theme park).

Flooding in the lawn and backstage area can also be seen.
