It also stands to to the massive 102,321 capacity Tiger Stadium which is current the 8th largest stadium in the world and sixth largest in the USA.
It was opened in January 1972 as the L.S.U. Assembly Center.
Since 1988 it has been known as Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Locally it is nicknamed as the 'Deaf Dome'.
