Another show on the six week UK club tour with Witchfynde and local acts in support.

The venue was located just south of the city centre and not far from the main train station and 1.6 miles to the west of Derby County F.C.'s Pride Park Stadium.

It was opened as a Bapist Sunday School originally before being revamped as the Derby Playhouse Theatre in October 1952.

The theatre closed in May 1975 but was reopened as the Ajanta Cinema in the late 1970s. It then began hosting rock concerts as the Ajanta Theatre from around 1979 to 1981 before being closed in 1983.

It has been replaced by housing with the original car park for the venue behind them.

This show was discovered in 2019 via newspaper listings from the time, It was added to the schedule after the initial tour listings had been published.
