Single Notes By DefDazz/Darren
The first single from 'High 'n' Dry' was released in August 1981. 'Let It Go' was released a few weeks after the album and the band's July UK tour. A picture from that tour was used on the front cover. The single did not chart in the UK. The song was originally called "When The Rain Falls" before being re-worked.
The live pic was taken in Liverpool as the band filmed three videos from the album. The back cover was black at the top with the Def Leppard logo across it. Below that it was white with both songs listed in black writing plus an ad for the album. The patch featured the Def Leppard logo writing on a black background. The US promo 7" single featured both the album version and a shorter edited version.
