PHIL COLLEN Says DEF LEPPARD To Release New Album In 2027/11 Songs Ready

Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has been interviewed by the local press in India and gave another update on the next studio album.

The new single 'Rejoice' was released in January with a lyric video.

Phil has been talking to the Indian press and mentioned the album again.

New Album In 2027

Phil said the band's need to make new music and said the next album will likely be released in 2027 and not this year.

He also says they have 11 songs ready to go with 15 being worked on for the album.

This is in line with recent comments over the last few months by Sav and Vivian who talked of up to 17 to 18 songs.

And Sav saying recently that the band were into the last 20% of work on the album.

Phil also talks about playing in India, the band getting along without egos causing issues and his previous visits to India.

The next show takes place in Mumbai tomorrow after the opening show in Shillong on 25th March.
