"And seeing as how last week, with it being the budget week in the UK, I played Taxman by the Beatles."

"It seemed appropriate."

"There's a new sheriff in town, or should I say that the old sheriff's been re-elected once again."

"But as an Englishman living in Ireland, I have no connection to American politics whatsoever."

"So let's just leave it there."

"We just heard the title track from that fantastic album, American Idiot."

"It is, of course, Green Day."

Rose Tattoo

"OK, let's head off down under the Blood Brothers themselves."

"This is Rose Tattoo."

"And before that, we heard Rose Tattoo."

"Fantastic slide playing on that particular song."

"The album is Blood Brothers, the song we heard once in a lifetime."

Jimi Hendrix

"From the recently released Electric Lady Studios, a Jimi Hendrix Vision, that is indeed the master Jimi Hendrix with an alternative mix of the song Ezy Ryder."

KISS

"OK, here's some live KISS for you, followed by a band that, believe it or not, once opened for them."

"And before that, we heard KISS from their first live album, Alive I, if you like, with Firehouse."

Rush

"I was at the first ever Rush gig in the UK at Sheffield City Hall in June of 1976, I believe it was."

"And they played pretty much that entire album."

"The album is All The World's A Stage."

"They just threw in one new song, which just happened to be Xanadu."

"What a song."

"But from said album, we just heard Fly By Night and In The Mood."

"But this week, I thought I'd just go with Mr. Brian May from his album Back To The Light."

"The song features some great drumming from the late, great Cozy Powell, the song that we heard, Resurrection."
