JOE ELLIOTT On DEF LEPPARD's 2026 Las Vegas Residency/Paris Show
Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been interviewed by French radio and talked about the residency and Live 2026 tour.
The Live 2026 UK/European summer tour leg starts on 13th June in Sweden.
Joe mentined the recent residency and the upcoming European tour.
The Las Vegas Residency/Paris 2026
Last night Joe was a guest on the RTL 2 radio show Pop-Rock Station with host Marjorie Hache (who also interviewed him for France 24 TV this week).
He mentioned the nresidency and upcoming summer tour dates inclding the one in France.
Joe appeared during the last 40 minutes (after a 2 minute introduction by the host) talking about The Las Vegas Residency, Rejoice, the next album, Mott The Hoople, T. Rex, Animal, David Bowie, The Struts, the Paris show (and that polka dot band from Canada...).

2026 started for you with a residency in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace — how was it?
"It was fantastic, it was really good. We had a week's rehearsals, a month's worth of shows."
"Five weeks in the same hotel room. I’ve owned a house for less time than I lived in that hotel."
And my question is: was it as wild as in the ’80s, with groupies waiting under the stage?
"Oh no. The only things waiting under the stage this time was the hydraulics that bring the stage up from the basement on to the stage."
"So we came up out the floor like a boy band."
"But it was briliant, we played a brand new song."
"We played some stuff that we haven’t played in 20 years — we played one somg that we haven't played in 33 years."
"So it was a really good setlist and very different."
"And you can do that in Vegas, it's a fun place to play."
Paris show what can fans expect?
"Well Def Leppard's got a reputation for being a great live band, so we like to put on an exciting show that's more than just the five guys."
"It’s the production that we bring: the lights, the screens, the content — is all very important to us."
"But at the end of the day, it’s all about the songs. We have a great back catalog to choose from; there's a lot of songs there."
"The hits obviously are very important, but it’s also very important for us to be bringing in new material, as we did with like “Rejoice,”."
"Or bringing back songs that we haven’t played for a very long time like "White Lightning” — we haven’t played it for 33 years.
