DEF LEPPARD To Feature In Paramount Plus 80s Docuseries Due September 17th

Def Leppard are set to appear in a new docuseries on 80s hair metal on Paramount Plus this September.
The band are included in the new series to be released next month in the USA.
80s Hair Metal Docuseries
Paramount Plus have just announced a new docuseries focusing on the 80s metal scene.
Titled - "Nöthin' But A Good Time: The Uncensored Story of '80S Hair Metal.".
It is set to premiere on the channel on Tuesday 17th September 2024.
Def Leppard and Poison are among many bands set to be featured in the series which is directed by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine.
It is also based on the book of the same titled from 2001 by Richard Bienstock and Tom Beaujour.
Trailer/Def Leppard Hysteria Footage
A short railer has been released on YouTube with a couple of brief Def Leppard scenes.
Both are live footage from the Hysteria tour and the first shows Sav and Steve from 1987.
The second shows Joe in Altanta, GA in October 1988 near the end of the tour.
Both seem to be from archive MTV footage and similar to shots used in past documentaries on MTV and the various VH1 shows including Behind The Music.
Episode List/Cast
The series features three episodes which all premiere on 17th September.
No Def Leppard members are listed among the cast which currently includes Bret Michaels, Corey Taylor, Tracii Guns, Don Dokken, Roxy Petrucci and Rudy Sarzo.
A few other names appear in the press release below.
Judging by the titles it's likely Def Leppard will feature in the second and third episodes.
