DEF LEPPARD's JUST LIKE 73 Was Number One On UK Physical/Vinyl Singles Chart
Def Leppard 2024
Def Leppard's 2024 Just Like '73 vinyl singles entered the UK charts at Number One last week.
Following a radio premiere on BBC Radio 2 the 'Just Like '73' single was released on 13th June.
The first release of new material since the 'Diamond Star Halos' album in May 2022.
UK Chart Positions
Somewhat unexpectedly 'Just Like '73' quietly entered two UK charts last week and both at Number One.
The vinyl single entered the Physical Chart at Number One on Friday 9th August.
On the same day it also entered at Number One on the Vinyl Singles Chart.
In Week Two on 16th August it has now fallen down both charts.

Chart History
These chart positions follow on from May 2023 when 'Drastic Symphonies' entered the main UK Top 40 Album chart at Number Four and was Number One on the Top 40 Rock Album Chart.
Sadly the rules of the Rock Charts in the UK for singles appear to have changed with the Top 40 now full of only classic tracks and based on streaming.
Previous singles up to the release of 'Now' and 'Long Long Way To Go' were regularly either Number One or Number Two on this chart.
Just Like '73
'Just Like '73' was released on 13th June following its world premiere broadcast on BBC Radio 2 by Zoe Ball on her breakfast show.
Two vinyl versions were then released on 2nd August including both Black Vinyl and a Limited Edition Blue Vinyl.
The first vinyl single release in the UK since the 12 Inch Picture Disc of 'C'Mon C'mon' in July 2008.
