DEF LEPPARD Live In Las Vegas, NV 2025 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played a 2025 tour show last night in Las Vegas, NV with 17 songs performed.

The show took place at the 10,000+ capacity Expo Hall A.

A return to Vegas and a show played in an exhibition hall.

The first visit to this city since January 2023.

Oracle AI World

The very brief last run of shows continued as the band travelled from the last public show in Gary, Indiana down to Nevada.

Having taken a 2,000 mile trip east to Indiana they travelled over 1,700 miles west.

Back to Sin City aka Las Vegas.

Another private show not on the main tour schedule and part of a four day conference called Oracle AI World.

A massive annual event organised by the Oracle Corporation.

The band's first time playing at the Venetian Expo Center or to give it its full title "Venetian Convention & Expo Center".

An event called The Party, with Def Leppard as the live band.

Taking place inside a massive 178,000-square-feet Expo Hall A from 9pm until midnight.

A show played one year and one day after the last show of 2024 which was also a private event in Nashville. TN and the first of two shows with John Zocco on guitar.

That show was played on 14th October - you may have read that this was the day when both 'Pyromania' and 'Hysteria' went 7 times platinum. If anyone posting this online bothered to check they would know it was actually in September with the discs being presented at the last Hysteria tour show on 27th October.

The first time in Vegas since another private show played as part of the CES convention in January 2023.

This last show of the year played right next door to the Sphere.

A venue they might get to play one day, but not last night.

(Actually) The Last Show

Taking it's total shows to well over 40, Las Vegas was the venue for the last show of 2025.

Yes, the actual last show, of the tour that refused to end despite kind of ending back in August in Virginia Beach.

The Party event started at 9pm with guests entering the same hall where the keynote speakers had been talking during the conference (as shown in some of the photos below).

Including the CEO of Oracle who is apparently the second richest person in the word (and hopefully less evil than...).

The footage of guests entering reveals that the 2025 tour staging and the circular LEDs were set up on the same stage.

The biggest difference to a normal show was the band and crew made use of the massive video walls.

A huge one behind the band that stretched out around the hall, a smaller thin screen above them, extended video walls around the sides and also screens hanging from the roof.

No one in Expo hall A could complain of not getting a good view of the performance.

A few hundred feet of video walls wrapped around the audience.

A suitably high tech set up for a high tech crowd but with real people on stage and no AI in use.

A performance that started at 9:40pm local time.

It's lucky no one in the UK was doing "Live Updates" and had their Internet connection go out about 30 minutes before the band started.

(Or they might have spent many minutes swearing and vowing to hunt down their ISP's CEO and wipe out them and their entire family...)

Yes, lucky that never happened, but the show appears to have gone well and, alongside the Quebec festival show, one of the best visual spectacles seen at the Def Leppard show in recent times.

Hard to say how big the crowd was but probably at least a few thousand gathered in the hall to watch the show.

Which as expected was the same 17 song set played in Gary, Indiana at the last public show of the year.

The closest the band have come to playing The Sphere which stands next door to the Venetian Expo and which briefly displayed the Oracle AI World logo during the event.

Not so far away on the same night, in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Alanis Morissette began her first residency.

Yes, the next show will see Def Leppard back in Las Vegas again as they start the third residency in February 2026.

Unless any other private shows happen between now and then.

Video Update

Most of the show has been uploaded to YouTube and can be seen via the Playlist link and Joe's speeches have been added below.

17 Song Setlist

A 17 song setlist was played.

'Just Like '73' was played here for the first time.

Las Vegas History

The first show in Las Vegas took place in September 1983 on the Pyromania tour.

Two In The Round shows then took place in 1987 and 1992 at Thomas & Mack Center.

In 2002 they opened the main X USA tour leg at Mandalay Bay Events Center.

The Joint was then played in 2003 and 2005.

Mandalay Bay Events Center was played again in 2006 and 2007 and again in 2006 at the VH1 Rock Honors.

April 2009 saw them play at The Pearl At The Palms.

MGM Grand Garden Arena was played for the first time in September 2009 and again in September 2011.

An outdoor show took place in 2012 during the Rock Of Ages tour at Red Rock Casino Amphitheatre.

In March/April 2013 the band played 11 shows at The Joint for the 'VIVA! Hysteria' residency and they were back in 2014 for a private show there.

MGM Grand Garden Arena was played again in 2017 before playing T-Mobile Arena in 2018 with Journey.

12 shows were played at Zappos Theater in 2019 for the Hits Vegas/Sin City Residency before another show for iHeartRadio at T-Mobile Arena.

The next show in September 2022 saw them end The Stadium Tour at Allegiant Stadium.

The last visit was in January 2023 for a private show at The Theater At Virgin Hotels.

Last night's show was the 42nd performance in Las Vegas (41 full shows).

And of course it will become the most played city in their history by the end of February 2026 with 12 new shows to add to the total.

The next Def Leppard show takes place in Las Vegas, NV on 3rd February 2026 as the third residency opens.
