DEF LEPPARD Live 2026 Tour In Guadalajara, Mexico (Show Report/Setlist)
Def Leppard played a Live 2026 tour show in Guadalajara, Mexico last night with 20 songs performed.
The show took place at the 15,000 capacity Arena VFG.
The band's first time at this venue.
The first visit to this city since October 2017.
Return To Guadalajara
They cancelled here in 1993 and then again in 2005 but eventually made their debut in the city nine years ago.
And now the long awaited return to Guadalajara took place.
Coming off the back of an amazing night for the band in front of 20,000 fans in Mexico City.
Travelling around 285 miles to the west of the capital for the third and final show in Mexico on the Live 2026 tour.
A second visit and a second venue.
Another indoor show but this time at the Arena VFG.
A venue that looks a little different inside to a normal arena with no seats at one end and black curtains used around the stage to block out daylight behind it.
The view from the stage looks like a normal arena view with seats curved around the opposite end.
The roof looking a bit like one from a warehouse or aircraft hanger.
A video by Extreme bassist Pat Badger before show time revealed there were seats in the floor section.
Something not used at other recent shows in the venue.
Suggesting it might not be the full 15,000 capacity show but there were still plenty of fans in attendance for night #3 in Mexico.
Last Night In Mexico
Extreme played another opening set with a later start time of 9pm,
It would be past 10pm before Def Leppard were on stage.
The final night in Mexico got off to another rousing start with 'Rejoice' with the song continuing to make it's debut in every new city played in 2026.
'Slang' featured Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme once more after his many guest appearances on the song in the summer.
Joe also doing his usual walkabout among the crowd as captured by local news media.
The usual setlist followed played before another great and very loud audience who sang along to every song.
Would they keep to the same setlist?.
'Rejoice', 'Personal Jesus', 'Just Like '73', 'White Lightning', like Mexico City, were played for the first time here.
'Slang' and 'Promises' also made their Guadalajara debuts.
'When Love & Hate Collide' was the first change making its debut here after being left out in Mexico City.
Joe's acoustic solo version of 'Two Steps Behind' was kept in the set after its return at he last show.
20 songs played in all on this last night, for now, in Mexico.
Next up a two day break before they return to a city and country not played for quite some time.
19 Song Setlist
'Rejoice', 'Personal Jesus', 'Just Like '73' and 'White Lightning' plus 'Slang' and 'Promises' were all played here for the first time.
'When Love & Hate Collide' was also added back to the set and played here for the first time.
Guadalajara History
The band had a show scheduled in Guadalajara in September 1993 on the Adrenalize world tour.
The show was cancelled and they made their Mexican debut in Monterrey and ended the world tour with two shows in Mexico City.
When they returned to Mexico in November 2005 the same thing happened with shows in Mexico City (x2) followed by another in Monterrey.
Another planned show in Guadalajara was cancelled.
They eventually made it here in October 2017 on the Summer Tour 2017 with The Warning in support.
The show took place at Auditorio Telmex in the Metropolitan area of Zapopan.
Like the previous show in Mexico City in 2026, that show also saw Joe bring back his solo performance of 'Two Steps Behind' which had not been played since 2015.
Last night's show was the 2nd performance in Guadalajara.
The next Def Leppard show takes place on 24th October in San Salvador, El Salvador.
