1 Year Ago DEF LEPPARD Released The PERSONAL JESUS Promo Video

Def Leppard released the promo video for their cover of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus on this day in 2018.

The song was originally recorded for a Spotify Singles session on 16th May 2018.

It was then remixed and included as a single from 'The Story So Far...The Best Of Def Leppard' greatest hits album which was released on 30th November 2019.

The promo video was teased during the 2018 US tour with Journey and briefly shown in the advert for the album.

Billboard's website premiered the video before it was added to YouTube

The black and white clip was filmed during the length North American tour with Journey in the USA.

The band members are sown performing against a black background and inter cut with various images depicting the religious nature of the lyrics.

Vivian also commented on the cover for Billboard.
