On This Day in Def Leppard History - 28th July, the following concerts and events took place. Including an appearance on UK TV show The Roxy 32 years ago on this day in 1987.

The band performed a playback version of 'Animal' on the show which was set to become their first UK Top 40 hit.

Also on this day in 2007 the band played a show in Cheyenne, WY during the Downstage Thrust tour.

There had been opposition to them playing at the Frontier Days event due to alleged cruelty to animals by Rodeo staff.
