On This Day in Def Leppard History - 29th April, the following concerts and events took place. Including the single 'Rocket' reaching Number 12 on the Billboard Top 100 chart 26 years ago on this day in 1989.
The 7th and final single from the 'Hysteria' album spent 13 weeks on the chart.
Also on this day in 2008 the 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' album was released in the USA/Canada.
The album reached number 5 in the US Billboard Top 200 album chart on 17th May and stayed on the chart for 8 weeks.
On this day in 1983 the band started their first US headline tour in support of 'Pyromania' in Odessa, Texas. The show at Ector County Coliseum was the first ever headline show in North America. It was also the only known time the band played the song 'Action! Not Words' live. It was replaced by 'Foolin'' after just one show.
The band continue the 2015 world tour tonight in Winnipeg, MB which was last played in August 2008. Check back later for the setlist.
