The venue is located in the city of Clarkston which is 42 miles North West of Detroit and within the Pine Knob Ski Resort.
It was opened in June 1972 as Pine Knob Music Theatre.
Since 2001 it has been known as DTE Energy Music Theatre.
Local band Superlast won a contest with FOX TV and opened the show before Evan Watson.
Before 'TSB' Joe played 'very brief' snippets of Heart and KISS songs.
Not the same length as those played on the X tour but a few bars only and with no vocals.
